Considered by many to be the ultimate in the art of knitting, lace knitting re-emerged in the mid-1990’s and, we’re glad to note, continues to grow more popular each year. From the most intricate gossamer shawls and stoles to the most delicate of socks, lace knitting continues to enchant and mystify. But fear not -- lace knitting only looks difficult! With a tip of our caps (knitted, of course) to Barbara Walker, author of several stitch dictionaries that form the backbone of any knitwear designer’s library, we offer patterns for three simple bee-themed lace scarves, guaranteed to get the beginning lace knitter in a buzz about lace.
