part I: a vest
The first in a series of designs with a bells theme, our seamless vest (no sewing!) is knitted all in one piece from the bottom up. Simple stitchwork features frequently changing patterns, based on 3x1 ribbing, to create an openwork "bells fabric." Tutorials are included for using short rows to shape optional bust darts and turn corners, making this design suitable for the adventurous intermediate knitter. Thanks to a built-in edging and minimal finishing, you'll soon be ready to go anywhere with bells on!
